Blog Income Report – June 2016

Blog Income Report - June 2016 - 20 Something Couponer

How was your month? Did you do anything to celebrate summer? In June, I went to New Hampshire for three days, which was beautiful, and camping for four days, which was a lot of fun!

Now that I’ve been blogging for SEVEN (I can’t believe it’s been that long!) months, I’ve discovered that reading other bloggers income reports is a great way to learn how other bloggers monetize their blogs. I hope that my monetization journey can help other bloggers so, here is my June income report:

Blog Income Report – June 2016

ShareASale– $120

Julep – $10

Aloha – $20

Madison Reed – $40

Stella and Dot – $40

Warby Parker – $10

Wow! I made more with ShareASale this month than everything I made last month! I really love this program! If you want to know more about how I did it, read my post about how much I love ShareASale.

IZEA – $4

I really wish I qualified for more things on IZEA because I see bloggers that make hundreds of dollars through it! This month, I had once sponsored tweet that paid $4.

Google Adsense- $2.53

Sponsored Post – $75

My first sponsored post! I’m so excited about this – hopefully, I will have more sponsored post opportunities soon!

June 2016 BLOG INCOME TOTAL  – $201.53 (Best month yet!)

YAYYYYY! Over $200! I can’t believe I did that this month. I don’t expect to make that much in July but it’s really exciting.

Social Media Totals for June 2016

I’m excited I increased my following on all social media platforms this month! I’m proudest of my rise in Instagram followers because I’ve definitely had the hardest time with that account.

Goals for July 2016

  • I launched a new blog, The New England Tourist, that I really want to work more on in July. I would like to have at least 5 posts on that blog by the end of the month.
  • StumbleUpon views – I need to stumble more pages and not just add pages, it used to be my biggest source of traffic but now it has fallen behind Facebook and Pinterest.
  • I earned $40 in Amazon gift cards through DealSpotr this month, which I think is pretty awesome! Read more about DealSpotr here and here.

Total Money Earned Blogging – $351.83

  1. Amazing! Congratulations on your success! I’m always inspired to do better, write better, be better when I read other blogger’s success stories, however *small* they may be! Keep rockin’!

  2. Great month, just a reminder for anyone making additional income to take part of it so that when you do your taxes you have enough to pay the taxes for the income. For example, once you earn $500 most places will send you a 1099 , misc income statement that also is sent to the federal government. If you keep at least 25% off it in an account to pay any taxes due you should be ok.

    1. Thanks for the reminder Chris! – keeping track of taxes is very important and it’s something that easy to overlook!

  3. Great job! Looks like your revenue just keeps growing, and that’s awesome! I haven’t done any sponsored posts for a while, but I need to get back out there.

  4. Your income reports look very similar to mine. Although, I’ve never had any luck with Share A Sale. I’m heading over to your Share A Sale post to see how you’ve gotten it to work!

    1. Let me know if you have any questions with ShareASale – it’s the only affiliate network I’ve had luck with!
