Sorry for such a late post (and my infrequent posting lately too)! I’ve been busy and I’m going to Disney World, my first time ever, next week so that’s been preoccupying my time.
This past couponing trip, on August 21, went pretty well. Not everything went according to what I had planned – I couldn’t find the glue or the mechanical pencils anywhere. Despite that minor setback, I did get $5 in Extra Bucks from getting 10 prescriptions filled when I scanned my ExtraCare Card at the coupon machine, which was a surprise.
I got two Dial Soaps, two bags of CVS flossers and one thing of Scope mouthwash for a total of $3.28 out of pocket (OOP), $3.49 with tax. I saved $14.97 or 82%. I earned $6 in Extrabucks to use for my next shopping trip.
I’d like to see my OOP total be less next trip. Hopefully, the next few weeks at CVS will have great deals where I can try to spend less and earn more Extrabucks.
Have you couponed at CVS? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!
